IAPZ can keep a brand's WooCommerce store in step with your items: names, prices, descriptions, photos, categories and stock. IAPZ is in charge, and the store receives. Change an item in IAPZ and the store follows within about a minute.
Connect the store
First, make a key in WordPress:
- Open WooCommerce › Settings › Advanced › REST API, and choose Add key.
- Describe it "IAPZ", choose yourself as the user, and give it Read/Write permissions.
- Copy the Consumer key and Consumer secret. WooCommerce shows them only once.
Then, in IAPZ, open Settings › WooCommerce and choose Connect a store. Choose the brand, enter the store's address (like oxairtech.ca), paste the key and secret, and choose where its stock comes from if you have more than one location. IAPZ checks the key before saving it. The key is kept encrypted and never shown again.
Each brand can have one store.
Link the products
Before anything changes in the store, IAPZ shows how the store's products match your items:
- Matched: found by SKU, or by the same name. If a name or price differs, the list shows both. IAPZ's will be sent.
- Not in the store: your items the store doesn't have. They stay off the store until you turn On the store on.
- Only in the store: products with no item in IAPZ. For each, choose Leave, Bring in (it becomes a new item), or Link to one of your items.
- With options: products sold in several versions, like weights or sizes. They're left alone for now.
Choose Link to start. From then on, IAPZ keeps the store in step.
What IAPZ sends
For each product on the store: its name, price, SKU, description, category, photos, and stock at the location you chose, in whole units.
Nothing in the store is blanked out. If an item has no description, photos or category in IAPZ, the store keeps its own until you add them.
Price levels stay in IAPZ: the store gets the retail price.
On the store
An item's Details tab shows Online store, with a switch for each of its brands' stores. Turn it off and the product becomes a draft in the store; it isn't deleted.
To put many items on or off at once, tick them in the items list, choose Edit, and use Online store.
If something isn't updating
Settings › WooCommerce shows each store, when it was last in step, and how many products aren't updating. Open the store to see each product the store refuses, with its answer, and the latest calls to the store. Sync now sends any changes straight away.
Disconnect stops all syncing. The store keeps its products as they are.
